Los Amigos is a cute little Mexican place on Atlantic Ave., very easy to spot when you enter Atlantic City from the AC Expressway. A quick lunch stop before shopping the outlets, and it was yet another pleasant surprise like Girasole. The decor was adorable, with blue walls, a mural, and cute window frames painted for a "cozy home in Mexico" type of feeling! The food is not exactly authentic, more like Tex Mex, but nevertheless really good. Prices were not bad at all and they are very generous with their portions.

Everything was delicious, including their chips and salsa! I did want to try their Fish Tacos, but being a burrito girl at heart, I got the "Ultimate" one with chicken, cheese, tomatoes, guacomole, refried beans, and rice. I have got to say the side salad stood out more than the humongous burrito! I had to ask what was purple concoction on top of the bead of mixed greens and raspberry vinaigrette. It was tarty like pickled veggies, but it was actually a mix of mango, papaya and something else that the waiter was not sure of. The website also does not say, but next time, I must order the Tropical Salad ($5.50) by itself!
A must try if you love Mexican and want a good lunch spot or even for Happy Hour! They also have a large banquet/party room upstairs on the second floor for dinner.
